MARIN, Maritime Research Institute Netherlands

The Maritime Research Institute Netherlands was founded in 1929 as the Netherlands Ship Model Basin (NSMB) by the Dutch government and industry. Work was started in 1932, following completion of the deep water towing tank.

At present, approximately 350 people work at MARIN; together they are responsible for a turnover of € 42 million. Working at MARIN means a great amount of independence. Personal initiative is welcomed and people are expected to be innovative. You will be involved in the most recent developments in your field of study.
